Web Tech Channel Intro

Welcome to to my channel, Web Technology.  In this little corner of the HD Website, I'll be posting articles covering a broad range of topics, loosely centered around web software development and website technologies.

The readership I'll be addressing includes web devs and designers, perhaps web studios without dev personnel, and certainly the php/mysql community in SE-QLD. If business owners and corporate I.T staff can glean some value from the channel as well, that would be terrific.

There's no way I'd start the content for this channel from scratch; too much work. Instead, there's a backlog of content to post that was previously disseminated via mail-list. The bulk of the backlog falls under the topic of dhtml, php/mysql and seo; so there's an indication of content to come.

In the past few months, a few projects have crept into the production queue that incorporate 2 OpenSource php packages, Joomla and Magento. You can also expect review type articles in applying these packages to different vertical markets and commentary on customising these packages.

Gad knows where else this channel will wind up, web tech is a huge landscape. I hope my views and opinions will be of some value to you.
