HyperGallery: Image Gallery or Virtual Showroom
There is an abundance of gallery website products sold on the Internet. The trouble with image galleries is that search engines tend to pay little attention to them. Search engines are interested in text content that can be indexed into their databases for retrieval during search results.
Images are certainly gobbled up by the search engines; but the images contribute only to image searches, not webpage searches. Not many people do their business or product research in the image search engines, so the typical image gallery contributes very little towards bringing in new visitors.
The HyperGallery takes an innovative step beyond the typical web-based image gallery by acting like a virtual display centre or showroom floor for commercial businesses. The HyperGallery optimises all pages with keywords and descriptive content for the search engines to index . The result is an image gallery that performs well in the search engines and hence attracts targeted traffic to the website. One might describe the HyperGallery a hybrid; a cross between a pure image gallery and a catalogue with detail pages optimised for the search engines. But wait, there's more to it than that...
The HyperGallery also features a sales enquiry and visitor tracking system. This system enables the visitor send a sales enquiry email to one of your salespeople. When viewing a product image from the gallery, a range of options are displayed to prod the visitor to take action. The "Add to My Enquiry" link adds the product name to a list of products that the visitor would like to ask a salesperson about. The visitor can then send the enquiry by clicking a "Send Enquiry" link that appears on the top left of the gallery's link menu and at the bottom of the image detail page. After clicking this link, the enquiries form will load and the visitor can add questions and comments to the email message sent to the salesperson.
The sales person receives a comprehensive email outlining all the items that the visitor viewed in the gallery, the list of items added to the enquiry, the visitor's questions and comments, and a link to each item at the website for quick reference. Armed with this information, your salesperson will have a highly useful sales lead with visitor contact info, what the visitor has been looking at while at the site, the products they're interested in, questions and comments, and links to the products in the enquiry list.
HyperGallery Content Pages
Gallery Homepage
The HyperGallery includes two choices for the homepage; a table of auto-generated images for each category, or a regular content page where you design your own homepage using the built-in webpage editor.
Category Thumbnails
The next level is a category page that displays thumbnail images and accompanying titles. The category page includes pagination; when the number of images in a category exceeds a predetermined maximum per page, pagination links appear above and below the thumbnail gallery.
Image Detail Page
The last level of content is the image detail page. The image detail page can be loaded with whatever text and image content you desire because the administration page for gallery items includes the use of the same HTML Content Editor used by the HyperCMS. To protect your intellectual property, the HyperGallery can watermark every image before it is displayed to the visitor in the browser.
We now are proud to introduce a new HyperGallery module to our line up. The new gallery features light box technology.
